Blantyre, 7 October 2025 – The ICT Association of Malawi (ICTAM) will host the Women in ICT Conference 2025 from 23–24 October 2025 at Amaryllis Hotel, Blantyre, under the theme:
“Commanding Change in the Age of AI and Digital Transformation: Women Who Inspire. Tech That Transforms.”
The conference will empower women in technology by providing a platform for dialogue, mentorship, and collaboration, bringing together ICT professionals, students, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and development partners.
Andrew Kamwendo, General Manager of ICTAM, said:

The two-day event will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, mentorship sessions, and a closing plenary to co-create an Action Agenda for Women in ICT in Malawi. Key topics include leadership, digital entrepreneurship, and AI innovation.
The conference supports Malawi Vision 2063, emphasizing Human Capital Development, Innovation, and Digital Transformation. By empowering women in AI and digital technology, ICTAM is promoting a more equitable and sustainable digital ecosystem.
