Today, our General Manager, Mr. andrew kamwendo, met with Mr. Simeon Chiutsi, President of the Malawi Union of the Blind, and Mr. Misheck Lobole, Chairperson of the Visually Impaired Workers Platform, to discuss the upcoming Training of Trainers (ToT) scheduled for 10th November 2025.

This initiative, championed by UNDP in collaboration with the ICT Association of Malawi (ICTAM) and supported by the ST Foundation, aims to empower blind and visually impaired persons with essential digital skills. The objective is to enable participants to master computer tools, thereby enhancing their independence, reducing inequalities, and facilitating their integration into the digital economy and broader society.

This partnership underscores our shared commitment to promoting digital inclusion and ensuring that no one is left behind in Malawi’s digital transformation journey.
